How did God make man in the beginning? Perhaps, if we take a look, to start with, at what the original plan was, we’ll better understand the process of what happens when you die. The Bible tells us in Genesis 2:7, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.”

You notice it does not say man was given a soul. It’s says man became a soul. The combination of the breath of life with the elements of earth makes a soul.

Jesus, now the Bible says all things that were made were made by Him, right? Without Him was not anything made. Who created Adam and Eve?

He is our creator and our redeemer. After He formed Adam from the dust of the earth, all the organs were in place and everything was perfect, except there was no life. He breathed this power of life, the breath of life, into him, and then he became a living soul. Doesn’t say He gave him a soul.
